Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Missned, second wife of the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, has for many years advocated for education and children’s causes around the world.
Breaking away from the traditional backseat role of wives of heads of states especially in the Arab world, the Qatar first lady has stepped forward to make an impact in a remarkable way. She plays a key role in supporting Qatar’s “far-reaching agenda to transform the country into a thriving, knowledge-based society by 2030”, according to her website. On the international level, her main focus has been supporting global education as well.
Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missned’s beauty, dignity and strong sense of self is admired by many.
