Translated to English:
“I wish to share with you what has happened to me in these last 7 months of my life. I was diagnosed with a malignant tumor, and it has been one of the toughest battles of my life. But the most beautiful part of it is that I have successfully overcome the disease/tumor. When I was informed a few days ago that the tumor could not longer be seen on the scan I was on cloud nine/ bursted with joy.I am extremely pleased and happy. I am now prepared to kick start my projects that I initially had in mind, but could not embark on them . We will be seeing soon. I am happy about the outcome and what I am today.”
There was much outpouring of love and support for Schiavone:
