What a soulful performance! Senegalese music legend Youssou Ndour and Malian iconic singer Rokia Traore came together in Geneva for a powerful rendition of Ndour’s classic “Birima”, released in 1992.
The song pays tribute to a revered Senegalese king whose courage, generosity, and love for his people helped shape their lives in historic ways.
