Lemons are cheap and natural, yet can be used in many ways. Lemons are an inexpensive, yet much healthier alternative to other household ‘solutions’ and remedies.

Home care:
Cleans grout, and grease; and can be used to tarnish off brass, and remove common households stains.
Sanitize dishwasher by adding a quarter cup of lemon juice in the soap dispenser, and then running normal cycle. Dishwasher will be clean and smell fresh.
Freshen garbage disposal by dropping a sliced medium lemon in, turning it on while running warm water until lemon is crushed. Kills putrid smell.
Aromatherapy – boil lemon extract plus a teaspoon of cinnamon, to fill the house with relaxing, sweet smelling aroma.
Personal care:
Deodorant: Dilute lemon juice, add a little baking soda, dab on underarms, this keeps you fresh all day.
Dandruff: Apply a table spoon of lemon juice to hair, shampoo and rinse – this helps cure dandruffs. Repeat as needed.
Lemon juice is also known to cure acne when rubbed into pimples and skin blemishes.
Dab some lemon juice on scrapes to disinfect. This also helps relieve itching.
Soften rough hands and feet by soaking them in warm water, apply lemon juice, rinse and massage with olive oil.
Sore throat: Extract juice from lemon, cut or peel into small pieces, add honey and boil. Drink mixture to help with sore throats.
Drinking half a lemon once a while mixed with a glass of water helps cleanse the system.
